Spartan Race – North Florida – 05-13-2017 – Review

- The price of the run was? $129
- I bought on discount or pre-sale? Yes
- The price vs the value was? As always, defintely worth it!
- The post-race perks included? Beautiful heavy medal, Super wedge of the Trifecta, post-race beer, and banana
- The check in process on the day of the run was – Simple and quick!
- The obstacles of the course were? Pretty challenging, even harder with rain!
- The most challenging obstacle was? Bender (Inverted Horizontal bars, first one is about 5 feet or so above the ground)
- The most unique or fun obstacle was?Twister!
- The quality conditions of the obstacles were? Great
- This is a great Mud Run for? Intermediate to Elite runners, this course was 9+miles! 1st timers, start with a Sprint, all elite runners, try the beast!
- For rookies who have never done a Mud Run, I would highly recommend it being their first? I would say if you’ve never competed in a Spartan, do the sprint first. As you grow as into a stronger Spartan, you will try the longer & tougher courses.
- Overall I would rate this run? ( 1 – 5 star; 5 is best) 5 Stars. Spartan Race has toughened their courses with some new unique OCR rigs. Quality, volunteers, gear, customer service – all 110%. One of our favorites races!!
