Race Review: SCPD Robo Mud Run – June 2017 – Osceola, FL

SCPD Robo Mud Run – Mud Run Review

  • The registration process for the run was?  Simple
  • I registered? Online
  • The price of the run was? $45
  • I bought on discount or pre-sale? Yes
  • The price vs the value was? Worth it!!
  • The post-race perks included? Awesome medal, T-shirt, banana, water.
  • The check in process on the day of the run was – Simple, no line & walked right up!
  • The obstacles of the course were? Perfect! Obstacles were designed for all runners – from easy obstacles like barrier climbs & cargo nets for beginners to the toughest obstacles like inverted monkey bars climb & the ring / grip rig obstacle for the elite runners.
  • The most challenging obstacle was? Ring / Grip Rig. A 5 Rings + 5 Pipe Grips Monster of a rig challenging your upper body & grip strength.
  • The most unique or fun obstacle was? SCPD Monkey Bars are by far my favorite monkey bars rig I have come to face. I almost failed my 1st Monkey Bar set..almost..haha. Tough inverted bars to make you climb up & down with 2 awkward transitions to deal with.
  • The quality conditions of the course were? Great
  • This is a great Run for? Everyone! 1st time OCR Runners to Elite Runners. Challenging but fun at same time!
  • Overall I would rate this run? ( 1 – 5 star; 5 is best) 4 Stars. I enjoyed this event!
  • What could be improved? I would want to see a top 3 finisher’s podium, timing chips, and more official photographers. This event is still growing, and will continue to still be an awesome run at the same time as it grows! I look forward to running it again!
