Savage Race is bringing the world’s best obstacle race back to Illinois on July 8, 2023. Try out all of our brand new 2023 obstacles along with the classics Colossus and Sawtooth! Run two or more courses and earn the coveted Syndicate medal and pins!

With the Blitz series, experience the World’s Best Obstacles on a 3+ mile course.

RULES & REGULATIONS FOR COMPETITION

To be eligible for SavagePRO age group awards and cash prizes, you must register for the SavagePRO wave.

Regular Waves: Attempt or skip obstacles, but be safe & have fun.

Award Ceremony

There will be an award ceremony after event.

To be eligible for SavagePRO age group awards and cash prizes, you must register for the SavagePRO wave at 9:00 AM on Saturday only. SavagePRO costs $30 more than open heats.

Cash prizes will only be awarded for SavagePRO Point Series events. Single event payouts: $1,250 for first place, $750 for second place, and $350 for third place. Overall Point Series events payouts: $3,000 for first place, $1,500 for second place, and $750 for third place. $500 for fourth place, $250 for fifth place.

Point Series

A 7-race series and the total combined points for the best 5 races will determine the overall rankings. If a competitor competes in all 7 races their top 5 races will be used for scoring. The Florida Fall race will count as one of the 5 races no matter what and competitors must attend it to be eligible to qualify for overall winner payouts.

Spectators

Spectator passes are $22 online until the Friday before the event, or $30 onsite (includes all applicable taxes) on race day. All SavageJR entries come with one complimentary spectator pass.

Always Needed! Receive a discounted race entry or donation to organization. Plus get a lunch & a volunteer limited edition t-shirt!

ARRIVAL

Be early, arrive an hour before your start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, find your friends & get warmed up and ready to start your race.

There’s no dress code, but you’ll be running through trails, mud & water while climbing over walls, underneath nets and ropes. So, dress comfortably.

Our elites recommend: performance gear (NOT COTTON), compression underwear, high socks & long sleeves.

Advice from experience: is to race in what you train in – new shoes on race day are NOT recommended.
