A prediction run is entirely different from other races that you’ve run in the past. Rather than finishing first or running the fastest, the object of a prediction run is to finish as close to the time as possible that you predict.

End the year predictably by estimating your finish time in either the 5K or 10K distance. Leave your watch, IPod, headphones (all your new Christmas gadgets) home as you attempt to estimate your finish time.

RACE SCHEDULE

The 10K starts promptly at 8:00am and we predict the 5K will start 5 minutes later.

For everyone’s safety, we ask faster runners to line up closer to the front of the start corral, then followed by run/walkers, walkers, and those with strollers ( if allowed ) toward the back.

5K/10K Thru November 30th: $30.00

5K/10K December 1st – 27th: $35.00

5K/10K December 28th & 29th: $40.00

5K limited to 150 runners

10K limited to 350 runners

Award Ceremony & Placement

The winners will be the runners that finish closest to their predicted time along the paved course of beautiful Old Tampa Bay.

Watches, GPS timers and other timing devices exclude you from award eligibility.

Overall top male & top female 5K/10K Predictors. Top 50 Predictors (Male or Female) in each race.

For Runners: Be Early

Arrive an hour before your start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, pick up your packet, drop your stuff at bag check, find your friends & get warmed up.
