Sugar Daddy Race is as competitive as you make it. Rally your team and battle the other teams in your division for bragging rights, or simply make it your goal to cross the finish line! This race is about coming together and accomplishing something you thought could never do. From the elite runner to the generally active individual, this race has you covered.

LOCATION
Iron Horse Trailhead: 25311 Magic Mountain Pkwy Santa Clarita, CA 91355
PARKING
Parking at the Iron Horse Trailhead is very limited, however, it is excellent for dropping off runners. On race day there will be 3 designated parking zones with parking nearby including Nancy’s Ranch, the business park across the street and on Wayne Mills Place. We highly recommend carpooling with your friends and other runners.
Bag Check
There will be a gear drop available at the start/finish line so you can quickly access your bag after finishing the race. However there is no gear drop on the course. The event is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
COURSE OPTIONS & DETAILS
The Sugar Daddy race features 4 unique courses for each distance on the awesome paseo pathways, taking runners of each distance to experience different parts of the Santa Clarita Valley. Each distance goes by the following course colors:
- Half Marathon = Red Course
- 10K = Purple Course
- 5K = Blue Course
- Kids Run = Yellow Course
There are a total of 6 aid-stations throughout all the courses and the start/finish line, plus don’t forget runners will get ice cream at the finish line!
Aid / Water Stations
Yes. There will be several stations with water, gel packs, and salt tablets, with a few key stations providing snacks and basic first aid if needed. At the finish line there will be water, food, and ice cream! We recommend you carry either a water bottle and/or hydration pack. Each aid station will include fresh water to refill your supply. Study the course map to know where station locations are for your distance.

Check-in to pick up runner bibs will be available on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and on race day, Saturday from 5:00 to 7:00 AM at the race staging area

ARRIVAL
For Runners: Be Early
- Arrive an hour before your start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, pick up your packet, drop your stuff at bag check, find your friends & get warmed up.

There’s no dress code, but you’ll be running on the road.
Our elites recommend: performance gear (NOT COTTON), water hydration packs, compression underwear, high socks and headgear.
Advice from experience: is to race in what you train in – new shoes on race day are NOT recommended.
