Spartan Race presents: Washington D.C. Super 10K & Sprint 5K
Located between the Patuxent and Wicomico rivers, Spartan is taking over Maryland International Raceway, a premier Motocross facility in the MidAtlantic. This venue will have no shortage of slippery mud pits, water crossings and motocross inclines. A perfect course for beginners, or for those who want to put their grip strength to the test.

Spartan Kids:
• Competitive 2 Mile Kids Race (Age Groups 9-11 and 12-14)
• 2 Mile Kids Race (Ages 9-14)
• 1 Mile Kids Race (Ages 7-9)
• 1/2 Mile Kids Race (Ages 4-6)
• 1/2 Mile Special Spartan Inclusive Heat (Ages 4+)
The Special Spartans Inclusive Heat takes place on our ½ Mile Kids Course. Designed for our Spartans who may have an intellectual and/or physical impairment to ensure a fun, safe and engaging experience while accommodating any sensory impairments.
All underage kids MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Each Kids Race registration includes two complimentary Spectator passes per family.

Adult Registration includes:

RULES & REGULATIONS FOR COMPETITION
To be eligible for Spartan awards and cash prizes, you must register for the Spartan Elite wave.
Regular Waves: Attempt or skip obstacles but be safe & have fun.
US OCR & OCRWC Qualifying Event
YES
Pro – Top 10 male and female in Elite
Age Group – Top 25 in each age group (Competitive and Elite) or top 5 in Open
Spectators
Most USA venues will require one to purchase a Spectator Pass to gain entry as a spectator, so check on the race’s specific event page for pricing. Typically, the fee is $20 if purchased online prior to the event (please note online registration closes at 5 pm Eastern Time on Friday prior to the race), and $25 when purchased on race day. Kids 13 and under are free. There is no spectator age limit.
Volunteer
Always needed. As a Spartan Race volunteer, you will help racers and have a unique, behind-the-scenes race experience. Not only that, but volunteering gets you free entry to a race.
ARRIVAL
Be early, arrive an hour before your start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, find your friends & get warmed up and ready to start your race.

There’s no dress code, but you’ll be running through trails, mud & water while climbing over walls, underneath nets and ropes. So, dress comfortably.
Our elites recommend: performance gear (NOT COTTON), compression underwear, high socks & long sleeves.
Advice from experience: is to race in what you train in – new shoes on race day are NOT recommended.
