Spartan Race presents: Palm Beaches Sprint and Kids Weekend
The S. County Regional Park is located just minutes from the beach. Situated 40 minutes south of West Palm Beach and an hour north of Miami, this is the perfect spot for an active and relaxing vacation. As for the race course, the Sprint course will be 3 miles and 20 obstacles of fast, mostly-flat running. We like to add challenges to the race course when dealing with flat terrains, so be on the lookout for some back-to-back obstacles and heavy carries. Challenge yourself by running the Sprint on both Saturday and Sunday. We’ll see you in South Florida, Spartans!

The Spartan Sprint: Spartan Sprint is a 5 km, 20 obstacle race that will change your life. This is our signature race type, a fast-paced adventure through rugged terrain built for new and returning racers alike. It’s the perfect gateway into the world of Spartan. The Sprint is a Spartan Trifecta eligible event.
The Hurricane Heat: Spartan Hurricane Heat is a team-based adventure challenge that trades course distance for time. Your Hurricane Heat will last either 4, 12 or 24 hours and will not finish with a single victor. HH Teams band together, solving complex physical and mental problems as they endure and overcome as one.
The 12 Hour Hurricane Heat, “HH12HR”, is a unique individual and team-building experience designed to test each athlete’s physical and mental toughness.
The HH12HR finds a balance between team building and individualism. By utilizing tactics similar to those of the Special Operations groups of various Military Branches the most qualified Spartans will be selected. Those who are selected and are capable of getting their squadron across the elusive finish will have earned their place among the few. 80% of those who sign up for an HH12HR finish, will you be one of them?

Kids Race: Spartan Kids is a series of obstacle course races — ranging from 800m to 3.2km — specifically designed to get your kids (ages 4-14) outside, feeling accomplished and having fun. They’ll run, jump and crush their way through obstacles, just like the adults.

To be eligible for Spartan awards and cash prizes, you must register for the Spartan Elite wave.

There’s no dress code, but you’ll be running through trails, mud & water while climbing over walls, underneath nets and ropes. So, dress comfortably.
Our elites recommend: performance gear (NOT COTTON), compression underwear, high socks & long sleeves.
Advice from experience: is to race in what you train in – new shoes on race day are NOT recommended.
