With 100% of all proceeds benefiting the Armed Forces Families Foundation, the Inaugural Skyway 10K will be a salute to the military families and a premiere bridge run for years to come.

The ONLY way runners can get to the start line is by riding on an official Skyway 10K bus from the Tropicana Field
PARKING:
The Tropicana Field parking lot will be utilized as a pick-up and drop-off point for runners before and after the race. Runners may also park their cars at the Tropicana Field at no additional cost.
COURSE OPTIONS & DETAILS:
A 10K run is 10 kilometers long, which is the equivalent of 6.2 miles (the length of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge). The 10K is point-to-point from Manatee County to Pinellas County running northbound. Runners will be bussed to the starting point in Terra Ceia in Manatee County. Once over the bridge, buses will be waiting at the finish line to take runners back to the Tropicana Field.

Packet Pick-up:
Packets will be available for pick up from 10 AM – 6 PM during our Pre-Race Expo on March 3, 2018. Absolutely NO packets can be picked up on the day of the race.
RACE SCHEDULE
The first wave of the race begins approximately at 6:10 AM. The ONLY way runners can get to the start line is by riding on an official Skyway 10K bus from the Tropicana Field. Participants must select one of three bus departure times listed in registration, explained below.
What are the bus departure times?
Runners must must be present at the Tropicana Field to board their indicated Skyway 10K shuttle. This selection is made during registration.

Pricing Structure
As 100% of all proceeds go to the Armed Forces Families Foundation, there are no discounts offered for the Skyway 10K. Thank you for your support!
Bag Check
There will be NO bags allowed on the course, so the Skyway 10K will include a bag check in registration. One bag per person can be checked at the Tropicana Field on the morning of the race. It is advised to leave belongings at home/in cars, if possible. Participants will not be allowed on the shuttle if they try to bring a bag. Please be aware that every bag is subject to inspection before entering the Tropicana Field.

RULES & REGULATIONS FOR COMPETITION
Can I walk the race?
We welcome walkers and runners of all levels! However, please be aware there is a strict cut-off of 9:15 AM at the southern base of the bridge and 9:30 AM at the northbound rest area. Due to strict time constraints participants that do not reach the southern base of the bridge by 9:15 AM will not be allowed to continue the race.

Spectators
Because of strict security measures, we cannot allow spectators on site at the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. However, we are working to secure a way to televise the race to allow spectators to view their loved ones from the Tropicana Field. Please check back for additional updates!

Be early, arrive an hour before your start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, find your friends & get warmed up and ready to get bussed and start your historical race.

Our elites recommend: performance gear (NOT COTTON), compression underwear, high socks & long sleeves.
Advice from experience: is to race in what you train in – new shoes on race day are NOT recommended.
