Astin Farms presents – 13th Annual Strawberry Distance Challenge
The Astin Farms experience is as competitive as you make it. Rally your team and battle the other teams in your division for bragging rights, or simply make it your goal to cross the finish line! Astin Farms is about coming together and accomplishing something you thought could never do. From the elite runner to the generally active individual, Astin Farms has you covered.

SPECIAL NOTICE: All need to be in the parking lot by 7:00 am due to closing road and laying of the timing devices.
N/A It is important to lock items in the trunk of your car. Parking and start/finish line is very close
COURSE OPTIONS & DETAILS:
1 Mile, 5k & 10k Course.
Aid / Water Stations
During the race, there will be water stations.
Race Start times:
5K Ruck- 7:30am
For everyone’s safety, we ask faster runners to line up closer to the front of the start corral, then followed by run/walkers, walkers, and those with strollers ( if allowed ) toward the back.
There will be race day packet pickup.

Top 3 Finishers in each age group:
11 & under male/female 40-44 male/female
12-14 male/female 45-49 male/female
15-19 male/female 50-54 male/female
20-24male/female 55-59 male/female
25-29 male/female 60-64 male/female
30-34 male/female 65-69 male/female
35-39 male/female 70+ male/female
Spectators are very welcome!
For Runners: Be Early
- Arrive an hour before your start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, pick up your packet, drop your stuff at bag check, find your friends & get warmed up.
WHAT TO BRING
Barcode (print or save your registration barcode to your phone.
Towel & extra (dry) clothes
WHAT NOT TO BRING:
Outside food and drink (racers, fuel for the race is OK)
WHAT TO WEAR
There’s no dress code, but you’ll be running in the streets.
Our elites recommend: performance gear (NOT COTTON), water hydration packs, compression underwear, high socks and headgear.
Advice from experience: is to race in what you train in – new shoes on race day are NOT recommended.

We LOVE the S.D.C.! It’s a flat road race throughout a beautiful community with waterfront scenery. SDC is fun and perfect for beginners, yet brings enough runners to make podium a challenge! You will see us at every SDC event we can possibly attend.
