Relevant Running presents – Sandra’s Run

The Relevant Running experience is as competitive as you make it. Push the pace & race for podium, rally your team and battle the other teams for bragging rights, or simply make it your goal to cross your virtual finish line! Relevant Running events are about coming together and accomplishing goals, in places you love to do it in. From the elite runner to the generally active individual, Relevant Running has you covered.

This race is dedicated Sandra, a true Cancer WARRIOR, and the mother of one of R.R. runners (Jeremy). Sandra has battled colon, breast, and brain cancer. She is currently fighting lymphoma/throat cancer. We seek to honor her fighting spirit, while at the same time raise awareness, and make a donation from the race proceeds in her name to the East Texas Cancer Alliance Of Hope. An organization dedicated to providing financial support to the residents of East Texas who are battling cancer.

******* If you cannot participate on the scheduled race date during the race window (8am to 11am Eastern time on race day), you can absolutely still register. Your medal will still be shipped. But, you won’t be eligible for age group awards (Mission Remission pin) or to be counted among the “official” times posted after race day.******

There’s no dress code, but you’ll be running where-ever you choose. Run in what you feel you need/like to!

Our elites recommend: performance gear (NOT COTTON), compression underwear, high socks and headgear.

Advice from experience: is to race in what you train in – new shoes on race day are NOT recommended.
