OPEN WAVE
Ditch the pressure and run open wave! You can still push yourself if you want, you don’t have to walk, but there’s not a constant battle! Hildervat Open is perfect for all ages and fitness levels.
ELITE WAVE
Hildervat Elite is for advanced athletes looking to take their experience to the next level.
Elite participants compete for age group awards and cash prizes. The Elite wave is always the first race heat of the day, starting with a fresh course, at 8:00 am. (Men: 8am, Women: 8:30am)
RELAY RACE
Pure Obstacle Challenge….do you ever wish you could just push yourself on the obstacles without all the running? Here’s your chance! Relay teams will get the chance to take on Hildervat’s toughest obstacles to compete for the Relay Team prize money and all the glory!
Here’s how it works…4 person teams, each person runs 1 lap and hands the timing chip to the next racer, the team that has all 4 racers complete their laps in the fastest time wins prize money and all the glory!
Each team member is required to to complete all obstacles.

-Min 3 participants
-Placement will be calculated based on the average of the 3 top finishers of each team
Each team member of the top 3 teams will receive an award.

RACE SCHEDULE
Elite Waves: 8:00AM Male / 8:30AM Female
Open Waves: 9:00AM Females / 9:30AM Males
Relay Race: 10:30 AM
Open Waves: 11:00AM – 2pm
For everyone’s safety, we ask faster runners to line up closer to the front of the start corral, then followed by run/walkers, walkers, and those with strollers ( if allowed ) toward the back.

FINISHERS RECEIVE
All participants receive athletic shirt, medal and bragging rights for life! Awards and Cash prizes for top finishers.
Award Ceremony & Placement
Podium opportunity and Awards:
1st place – $500 2nd place – $250 3rd place – $150 will be paid to the top 3 men and women overall $150 to the first place masters male and female.
Awards will also be presented to the top three finishers (male and female) in the following age groups: 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and above based on participants age at the end of the calendar year.
*Must be registered and compete in the ELITE HEAT only, to be eligible for awards.

For Runners: Be Early
- Arrive an hour before your start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, pick up your packet, drop your stuff at bag check, find your friends & get warmed up.

There’s no dress code, but you’ll be running on the beach & climbing obstacles. So, dress comfortably.
Our elites recommend: performance gear (NOT COTTON), compression underwear, high socks & long sleeves.
Advice from experience: is to race in what you train in – new shoes on race day are NOT recommended.
