GroundHog Events presents: Hades Underworld 5M, 10M & Ultra Trail Run
Hade’s Underworld is a Trail/off road race. Trails, Water and many fun surpises await you!

1. All Race finishers will receive finisher t-shirts and medals. Overall and age group awards
2. Committing to this race will keep you motivated to train and stay in shape. Get motivation to avoid temptation — don’t throw your running lifestyle of healthy eating and consistent training to the wind over the summer season.
3. Looking for an challenge? Take on a more challenging course than 5-Mile, try the 10-Mile or if you are looking for the toughest monster, conquer the 6-Hour As many laps as possible (AMLAP) Challenge!!
Event Details:
WHERE: Alafia River State Park, 14326 S County Rd 39, Lithia, FL 33547
DISTANCES: 5-Mile, 10-Mile, & 6-Hour As many laps as possible (AMLAP)
START TIME: 8:15 am for ALL DISTANCES
RACE PACKETS: There will be race day packet pickup starting at 7:00 am on Saturday morning
COURSE: TBD
AID STATIONS / WATER STOPS: Details to be posted soon
CUTOFF: 6 hour challenge- Must begin last lap by 1:45 pm
POST RACE: There will be a post race party. Details to be posted soon
Ruck Challenges: Ruck Timed (Ruck Requirements- if runner weighs 150 lbs or less must carry 10 lbs in backpack or rucksack 151+lbs must carry 20 lbs in backpack or rucksack)

ARRIVAL: BE EARLY.
We like to arrive an hour and a half before our start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, pick up your packet, drop your stuff at bag check, meet up with fellow runners and get warmed up before your race begins.

Recommended: All-Terrain running shoes and Camelback / ruck bag for hydration and hold gloves/wrapes/emergency kit

WHAT TO WEAR
There’s no dress code, but you’ll be running for miles through trails.
Our elites recommend: performance gear (NOT COTTON), water packs, compression under-gear and energy gels.
Advice from experience: is to race in what you train in – new shoes on race day are NOT recommended.
