GBC is coming to Dawsonville,
We are stoked to bring you The Atlanta Operator – Individual OCR/Endurance Hybrid challenge. This race will host Competitive waves for timing and prizes, as well as Open (non-competitive) heats, scaled for the athletes that are solely interested in completing the challenge.

The distance will be approximately 5 miles and will consist of obstacles throughout course as well as some of the GBC staple endurance challenges (or WODs).

RULES & REGULATIONS FOR COMPETITION
The GBC Operator Course is a MANDATORY obstacle completion event for the competitive divisions. You MUST complete the obstacle on your own accord without any assistance from a volunteer, fellow competitor or spectator. Any violation to this simle rule will result in your disqualification for podium awards. Always strive to do your very best, that is all anyone can ask of you.
Open division participants have the option to bypass an obstacle that may be too challenging. Your safety is paramount. Enjoy the race course within your abilities and comfort levels.
Award Ceremony
Custom awards for the elite division will be awarded to the top 3 male & female finishers overall in the competitive division. Custom dog tags will be awarded to the top 3 male/female age group winners. These will also be drawn from the elite division. Age groups are as follows: 16-20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+ (Masters)

ARRIVAL
Be Early. Arrive an hour before your start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, pick up your packet, drop your stuff at bag check, find your friends & get warmed up.

There’s no dress code, but you’ll be running through trails, carrying yokes & dragging sleds.
Our elites recommend: performance gear (NOT COTTON), water packs, compression underwear and energy gels.
Advice from experience: is to race in what you train in – new shoes on race day are NOT recommended.
