GroundHog Events presents: Cerberus 5M, 13.1M, & 6-Hour Ultra Trail Race
Ceberus Trail Race is a trail / off-road race. Trails, Water and many fun surprises await you!
TOP REASONS TO TAKE ON THIS COURSE:
1. All Race finishers will receive finisher t-shirts and medals. Overall and age group awards
2. Committing to this race will keep you motivated to train and stay in shape. Get motivation to avoid temptation — don’t throw your running lifestyle of healthy eating and consistent training to the wind over the summer season.
3. Looking for a challenge? If 5M isn’t challenging enough, try the 13.1M, or Ultra 6-Hour as many laps as possible challenge. Add even more difficulty to that and register for the Ruck division!
Event Details:
WHERE: Maddox Ranch, 2505 W Bella Vista St, Lakeland, Florida 33810
DISTANCES: 5M, 13.1M, & 6-Hour Ultra Trail Race as many laps as possible challenge. Add even more difficulty and register for the Ruck division!
START TIME: 8:15 am for ALL DISTANCES
RACE PACKETS: There will be race day packet pickup starting at 7:00 am on Saturday morning
COURSE: TBD
AID STATIONS / WATER STOPS: Details to be posted soon
CUTOFF: 6 hour challenge- Must begin last lap by 1:45 pm
POST RACE: There will be a post race party. Details to be posted soon
Ruck Challenges: Ruck Timed (Ruck Requirements- if runner weighs 150 lbs or less must carry 10 lbs in backpack or rucksack 151+lbs must carry 20 lbs in backpack or rucksack)

BAG CHECK: $5 cash only

ARRIVAL: BE EARLY.
We like to arrive an hour and a half before our start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, pick up your packet, drop your stuff at bag check, meet up with fellow runners and get warmed up before your race begins.

WHAT TO WEAR
There’s no dress code, but you’ll be running for miles through trails.
Our elites recommend: performance gear (NOT COTTON), water packs, compression under-gear and energy gels.
Advice from experience: is to race in what you train in – new shoes on race day are NOT recommended.
