Returning to Chicago in 2017, Badass Dash will be bigger and better than ever as it returns to the Sears Centre Arena on July 8th.
All adult participants will compete on a challenging, yet attainable, chip-timed 7K (4.4 miles) course, and have the opportunity to conquer over 40 obstacles and be #BADASS4LIFE!

Course Details:
Elite Division: The Elite Division is custom-made for individuals who are well trained athletes and are looking to for their next big challenge while having the adventure of a lifetime. The Elite Division accommodates those who can traverse through badass obstacles while navigating the 7K (4.4 miles) course the fastest with opportunities to win big prizes and even bigger bragging rights.
Recreation Division: The Recreational Division can be the right fit for avid racers, weekend warriors, or everyday athletes looking for a new personal challenge. Whether you are specifically trained in Obstacle Course Challenges and Adventure Races, or not, this Division allows you to set your goal and achieve it throughout the 7K (4.4 miles) course.
K-9 Companion Division: Zuke’s K-9 Companion Division is “the original” obstacle course team-challenge for dogs and their owner! Your Zuke’s K9 Companion team will consist of one runner (14 years of age and up), and one canine (one year of age and up) of any size, shape or breed. The 5K (3.1 miles) course is specifically designed to create a fun and challenging adventure. Your Zuke’s K9 Companion Team will follow much of the Recreational Division course with a select number of obstacles designed specifically for each team to conquer together.
Kids Dash: The Kids Dash is divided into 2 brackets. A 400-yard Kids Dash course is designed for ages 4-6 and features age and size appropriate obstacles. For ages 7-13, they participate on a 2K (1.25 mile) course with an appropriate mix of obstacles.

ARRIVAL: BE EARLY.
We like to arrive an hour and a half before our start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, pick up your packet, drop your stuff at bag check,meet up with fellow runners and get warmed up before your race begins.

Recommended: All-Terrain running shoes and Camelback / ruck bag for hydration and hold gloves/wrapes/emergency kit

Outside food and drink (racers, fuel for the race is OK)

WHAT TO WEAR
There’s no dress code, but you’ll be climbing, jumping, crawling, and sliding through mud, muck, and water all day long.
Our elites recommend: performance gear (NOT COTTON), water packs, compression under-gear and energy gels.
Advice from experience: is to race in what you train in – new shoes on race day are NOT recommended.
